Casa Bombić is set in the small village Majeri, in the hilly part of Istria, 8 km from the city Buzet and about 36 km from the sea.
The house was completely renovated in 2018 by the father, who grew up here, and his son. They especially took care of preserving the authentic appearance and the unique charm of the old Istrian stone houses. The villages in Istria are known for nicknames, this is how Casa Bombić got the nickname of the owner family. Surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and orchards it is an ideal place to get away from the daily hustle. Here you can take endless walks through the hills, explore the many medieval small towns, or visit one of the konobas in the area that offers the expensive white truffle daily.
On an enclosed property the guests can use a swimming pool, sun chairs, barbecue, outside shower and enjoy the natural shadow under the linden tree and the grapevine. From the exterior, there is the entry to a laundry room with washing machine, iron and a shower/toilet.
Casa Bombić lies on the first floor with entrance through the baladur, (a typical terrace in Istria with stairs from the yard and house entrance) with sitting set. Holiday home of 75 sqm with air-conditioned living room with satellite TV, sofa, dining room and fully equipped kitchen with an old carpenter table as a convenient kitchen bar on the first floor. On this floor is also a bedroom with a double bed and a shower/toilet. On the second floor/attic is a bedroom with a double bed. Please note this property does not accept youth groups or stag/hen parties. A youth group at this property is one comprised of individuals aged 26 or under. Do not book this property if you are a youth group or a stag/hen party, as your booking will be rejected post-booking, which may include on arrival at the property or during your stay and you will not be refunded.
