Welcome to this little paradise called Es Capritx. The dainty, at first glance inconspicuous villa knows how to enchant with its oasis-like dream garden and the lovingly furnished interior down to the smallest detail. In a wonderfully rural, slightly elevated location, you can enjoy magnificent views of the picturesque village of Artá and neighbouring Capdepera. The south-facing, renovated house is surrounded by an incredibly beautiful landscape: Spacious lawns with plenty of room for our little guests to play, a small pond with goldfish, numerous magnificent flowering plants, Mediterranean trees and tall palm trees characterise the harmonious picture . Relaxation is guaranteed in the hammock. The same goes for a dip in the huge pool, which is surrounded by a sun terrace with plenty of loungers and parasols. The table tennis table and basketball hoop provide sporting fun, which older visitors are sure to appreciate. There are plenty of attractive outdoor seating areas with timeless wicker furniture. There is a terrace in the extension of the pool terrace; it has an awning that offers protection from the sun. If you continue through the adjoining lounge around the house, you first pass a more than practical outdoor kitchen. You then come to a completely romantic, covered dining area, which is located directly in front of the kitchen so that food can be prepared in comfort. So nothing stands in the way of a cosy barbecue evening.
The interior of the old building has been completely renovated. The furnishings are wonderfully simple, but have been selected with unique attention to detail. Mocha-coloured floor tiles, wooden beamed ceilings, exposed quarry stone masonry, gleaming white walls and a few modern details not only testify to the excellent taste of the friendly owners, but also lend the villa a certain finesse that is not commonplace. The cosy living room leads into the kitchen via the open-plan dining room with its rustic wooden table. The kitchen is simple, yet equipped with every conceivable convenience (after all, there is also an outdoor kitchen that can be used). The cosy reading corner adds a touch of oriental exoticism to the harmonious furnishing concept. Finally, you will find a cosy night's sleep in the three double bedrooms, one of which has two separate beds and is therefore ideal as a children's room. The master bedroom has its own bathroom. The other two charmingly furnished bedrooms share a second bathroom with a bathtub, although there is a separate shower cubicle. The sense of well-being is rounded off by charming decorative details such as wooden figurines and other high-quality artefacts with a touch of delicate nostalgia. A perfect place to relax, above all you will find time for yourself and your family here.
The remarkable Villa Es Capritx fits perfectly into this region around the medieval town of Artà, which is about 5 minutes away by car. Every Tuesday there is a weekly market in the centre around the Plaça del Conquerodor. There you will discover a whole range of culinary specialities from the region as well as selected arts and crafts. Simply enjoy the colourful hustle and bustle over a café con leche in one of the local bars that line the market square. The authenticity of this medieval village with its exquisite boutiques and excellent restaurants adds to its charm and appeal. The villa is easy to reach as it is located close to a country road that leads to Artà and the surrounding villages, depending on the wind, so the beaches can be visited very quickly. For a change of pace, you can visit the lively beach and harbour promenade of Cala Ratjada, which can be reached in around 20 minutes by car. On the way there, you will see numerous signs pointing to beautiful natural beaches, so you can stop for a refreshing swim or simply take a look at the sea. Pure holiday. The beautiful Villa Es Capritx enjoys a wonderful rural and elevated location, offering phenomenal views of the medieval towns of Capdepera and Artá from the beautifully landscaped garden. For your daily needs you can shop in the supermarkets or in the fruit and greengrocer's just 2 km away.
