Arvika, 18 km from the accommodation, is a nice small town with good restaurants, stores and entertainment. Here you will also find museums such as a vehicle museum, a craft museum in Rackstad and an open-air museum in Såguddens with beautiful surroundings. Gammelvala, about 30 minutes from the accommodation, is an event that is held annually for a week. Here you will find handicrafts and how it used to be. Arvika Harbour Festival is another annual event where you can see concerts with famous artists. A large shopping center is located in Charlottenberg, 25 km from the accommodation, on the Norwegian border.
