Nykøbing Sjælland is close to the house, you can do good shopping there either in the pedestrian zone or in the shopping center. The town also hosts Sommerland, an amusement park with an adventure pool. In the small harbor Rørvig, another vacation pearl there is a fish smokehouse and from here the ferry goes to Hundested, from where you can quickly reach Copenhagen.
