The seals in the sea around the island are another attraction, so visit Galgerevet at Sønderho and watch them dozing a hundred times on the beach. Every year around July the kite festival takes place with several thousand spectators and participants. Behind Fanø Bad lies Denmark's oldest golf course in beautiful, hilly landscape with views over dunes and sea.
