It is not far to one of the best located golf courses and it is only a few kilometers to Kalundborg with good shopping, nice cafes and restaurants. Experience the narrow streets of the medieval town with its well-preserved half-timbered houses and cobblestones, Kalundborg has a nice pedestrian area and a beautiful old church.
The peninsula of Reersø is also worth a visit. It is best explored on a walk around the island (about 9 km). To the east there are three beautiful wetlands Bottle, Shift and Vejlen with wading birds, ducks and exciting flora. In the west there are high dunes and at the same time it is a very good place for anglers. The island is also known for its many tailless cats.
