The impressive Son Sureda estate, with its 1,500,000 m², has adapted to holiday guests of all ages after 500 years of agriculture, viticulture and livestock farming. The names of the eleven holiday apartments, which are distributed around the main house, the mayor's house and the outbuildings with one or two double rooms, still hint at their former use. On your walks around the old walls you will discover many old horse-drawn carriages and interesting agricultural equipment. Enjoy your privacy on your own small terraces either at ground level or with a view and have the opportunity to meet other holidaymakers at the many tables and chairs in the large courtyard. You can start your Mallorca morning in the impressive vaults (the former horse stables) or outside in the open space with a sumptuous, typical island breakfast, which you can add to your booking. Two pools with sun loungers and outdoor showers, a paddling pool, a playground with swings, sandpit, climbing frame, football pitch and chicken coops provide relaxation for single travellers and couples as well as for families on a farm holiday. Perhaps it's the Bona Vista, the cosy studio on the upper floor. It has a double bedroom with two 0.90 x 2 metre beds, a spacious split-level shower room and a rustic living/dining room with typical Mallorcan rocking chairs and a small dining table. This would be your Son Sureda kingdom. On days when you want to stay at the property all day, you can prepare snacks, salads and small meals in the mini-kitchen with fridge, two ceramic hobs and a microwave. The balcony, furnished with a table, chairs and parasol, is directly accessible from the living room and is the namesake of this accommodation unit because the view from here is truly wonderful! Treat yourself to a breather with a good book in between. And there are a number of worthwhile destinations: City life or sea breeze? From your villa accommodation, you can easily explore the different sides of the island. A good 15 kilometres away, the beaches await sun worshippers, surfers and families. The extensive Son Serra de Marina and the almost two-kilometre-long sandy beach in the direction of Colònia de Sant Pere offer enough space to spread out more than just a towel. If you want to enjoy the blue tones from above, drive to Betlem and climb the 5 kilometres to the small Ermita. Of course, more challenging routes for hiking boots and mountain bikes are also possible. The Ma-3322, which is sometimes audible depending on the wind direction, takes you to the town of Manacor for a spontaneous trip to the historic town centre or shopping at the market. If you would like to visit the cathedral in Palma, simply leave your car at the train station and take the bus or train. Holiday home in the countryside with lots of nature for villa guests. Feel at home on the Son Sureda agroturismo estate, which is set between sheep pastures and vineyards and has eleven self-catering flats and studios, a large U-shaped courtyard and several pools. Manacor, one of the island's metropolises, is only 9 km away. It is ideal for shopping at the daily fruit and vegetable market, excursions and a relaxed dinner in a restaurant. And on the Badia dAlcúdia, in the direction of Son Serra de Marina and Colònia de Sant Pere, you can still find some beaches that are not yet overcrowded.
