Description

This spacious, comfortable house with air conditioning and WiFi (free) is located just 10 minutes from the airport in Alicante, on the Costa Blanca, in the popular Monte y Mar area, in the fantastic Gran Alacant region. From the roof terrace and balconies you overlook a wooded ravine and have spectacular views of the sea, the mountains and the perfect sunrise. On the ground floor you will find the house's well-equipped kitchen, which is open to the dining area and lounge, as well as one of the two bathrooms. On the first floor there are two bedrooms, one of which has access to a panoramic balcony, and a bathroom. At the very top you will find the roof terrace, from which there are impressive mountain and sea views. Here you can sunbathe, enjoy a refreshing drink or a meal while watching the activities on the Mediterranean. A large public swimming pool with children's pool, set in landscaped gardens, is just 50 metres away.
The beautiful Carabassi sandy beach is a 15 minute walk, or 3 minute drive away. It is one of the most beautiful and safest beaches on the Costa Blanca with miles of soft white sand, dunes, virtually untouched and a cosy beach bar. In the surrounding area there is a wide selection of local and international restaurants, bars, shops, banks and supermarkets, including a 24-hour shop and internet cafés. Many activities such as golf, tennis, snorkelling and other water sports await you here. Or go on a voyage of discovery in the surrounding historic towns. There are also several markets nearby, which are only a short bus ride away. Every Thursday there is a local market in Gran Alacant.
Alicante, on the Costa Blanca coast, has the mildest climate in Europe. With an average temperature between 17 and 31 degrees and 320 days of sunshine a year, the climate is not only healthy and cosy. It has been recognised by the WHO as one of the healthiest in the world. It is a great place to come as a tourist all year round, not only because of the many hours of sunshine, but also because of the good Spanish Mediterranean cuisine and the kilometres of sandy beaches along the entire coast. Alicante, with its 300,000 inhabitants, is a large city with a long history. A stay in this modern Spanish city also gives you the opportunity to encounter the ruins and buildings of former Roman and Moorish masters in the area.
